The daily operation is very simple; the new machine's debugging and minor fault adjustments have a certain technical threshold. ordinary workers can get up to speed and start independent production within half a day to one day of training. The difficulty of connecting the fully automatic production line is relatively high.
1. Comparison of Difficulty between Two Models

Daily startup production: Very simple
Operation content: Add wax shell, put honey pills into the feeding hopper, touch screen to start, the machine automatically completes shell processing, placing pills, clamping, eliminating defective products. The operator mainly checks and receives finished products.
Training duration: 4 - 8 hours can start working
Difficulties: First-time changing molds (3g → 9g), adjusting pressing pressure, vibration disc shell processing angle. It requires technical personnel from the manufacturer to guide for 1 - 2 hours to adjust properly. After adjustment, it is basically not needed to make any further changes.
2. Linear high-speed connection unit (shell pressing + dipping wax assembly line) ⭐ Medium
Production capacity 5000 - 10000 pills / hour
Daily operation: Still very simple, one-click start/stop
Difficulties: Matching the production line's rhythm, cooling and cooling temperature of honey pills, consistency of wax shells, wax dipping temperature linkage; when there are problems such as shell explosion, poor sealing, or jamming, the troubleshooting difficulty increases.
Operators, in addition to starting and checking, it is best to have 1 person who understands simple debugging to follow.
2. Complete Standard Operating Procedure (daily production)
Before startup inspection (5 minutes) Check air source pressure 0.4 - 0.6 MPa, emergency stop, photoelectric sensors, no debris on the track, broken shells.
Loading materials: Pour the upper and lower half wax shells into two vibrating feed hoppers; cool and qualified honey pills are put into the pill material hopper.
Parameter retrieval: Touch screen to retrieve the corresponding specification (9g/6g/3g) formula, speed, pressing pressure parameters.
Preliminary test run: Run a few rounds without load; first produce 20 - 50 test pieces to check the tightness of pressing, whether there are shell explosions, empty pills.
Automatic production: Start automatic operation, the machine automatically presses the shells. The operator conducts regular inspections, clears the jammed waste materials, and receives finished products.
Shutdown cleaning (10 - 15 minutes) Empty the feed hoppers, wipe the track and molds with alcohol, clean the drug powder debris, turn off the air source power supply, complete GMP cleaning.
A fully automatic shell pressing machine does not require placing pills one by one by hand for pressing and sealing; the operator only needs to load materials + inspection.
3. The 3 Most Difficult Sections (The easiest for beginners to get stuck)
Wax shell adaptation debugging: Different manufacturers' plastic wax shells have slight differences in outer diameters. The vibration disc often flips or reverses the shells, requiring fine-tuning of the vibration disc angle.
Pressing pressure adjustment: Too little pressure makes it difficult to press tightly; too much pressure directly bursts the wax shell.
Matching of honey pill softness: Honey pills that are too soft are easily flattened by the suction cup; honey pills that are too hard do not place accurately and need to be coordinated with the previous cooling pill process.
4. Practical suggestions for your model selection and operation
If you only want to produce in small batches, prioritize the small rotary table single machine, as the debugging is simple, it takes a short time to get started, and one person can manage it.
For large-scale production lines, the linear high-speed model is recommended. It is suggested to agree with the manufacturer on on-site installation and debugging + on-site training for 1 - 2 days, teaching the operator how to make minor adjustments for common faults, and making production later more worry-free.
